Dr Berrin Tezcan MRCOG, MSc, MD, Clinical Director 

Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecologist & Fetal Medicine Specialist

Berrin completed her specialist training in London. She has been working in the NHS as a senior obstetrician and gynaecologist since 2005. She has over 15 years experience in the specialty. She completed her specialist training in Fetal Medicine at King's College Hospital and holds Diploma in Fetal Medicine awarded by Prof Kypros Nicolaides. She then completed an MSc degree in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine at UCL (University College London) with distinction.


Berrin is one of the leading gynaecologists and obstetricians in London. She has excellent reputation and also she is known as one of Vitality Health and Bupa's  open referral consultants which means that her excellent management skills and excellent patient satisfaction results are recognised by the world's leading private health insurance companies.  


Berrin worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Fetal Medicine Specialist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She has been actively involved in the training and teaching of obstetricians and gynaecologists at all levels. Berrin has very well established private clinics both in Central London and in South London.


Berrin also holds practicing privileges at the Portland Hospital. Berrin also runs regular private clinics at 212 Great Portland Street Clinic (the Portland Hospital Outpatient Clinic) and at Women's Health Dulwich.

Berrin is married with two sons, 21 and 17 years old. Her sons study at Stanford University, California and at Dulwich College, London. Berrin enjoys spending time with her family and running and swimming. She has successfully completed Hever Castle Triathlon, Vitality London 10k ran for Children with Cancer UK and also completed Cancer Research UK, Race for Life 2017.

Dr Rima Chakrabarti BSc, MBChB, MRCOG, MA (Clinical Education), SFHEA Consultant Gynaecologist

Miss Rima Chakrabarti is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. Having graduated from Glasgow University in 2010, she completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London in 2019.  

Her main interests are in managing women with Endometriosis, PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome) and Menopause.  She also performs Early Pregnancy and Gynaecology scans and was awarded the Ethicon Fellowship in Laparoscopy surgery in 2018.   

Having successfully attained her Masters in Clinical Education in 2021 from King’s College London, Rima currently divides her time between her Academic commitments at UCL Medical School and her clinical practice. 

Currently, Rima is the Lead for the Curriculum Map at UCL Medical School and also works with the Quality Assurance & Enhancement Unit.  As the Chair of the Gender Equality Taskforce at the Medical School, she led the strategic response for tackling Misogyny and Gender Based Violence. She also has commitments with the RCOG and is a Member of the 

Workforce Planning Group and is involved in postgraduate teaching at the Royal College of Physicians.


Consultant Gynaecologist

 Dr Jawad is a Consultant in Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health.  She holds specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Forensic Gynaecology.  

Ruhi has a portfolio career and has been working in the NHS since 1999, holding various positions across the UK. She currently acts as the Clinical Lead Consultant and is actively involved in teaching and training across her specialities, acting as the General Training Programme Director, Clinical and Educational Supervisor for her trust. 

Ruhi specialises in all aspects of contraception, with a focus on provision of Long Acting Reversible Contraception under local anaesthesia - for coils and implants.  Ruhi manages routine and complex  cases with medical and surgical complications including ultrasound guided procedures and out-patient gynaecology and medical management of menstrual disorders (PCOS, endometriosis, heavy/abnormal bleeding).

Since 2000, Ruhi has been supporting the Havens, acting as a Sexual Offences Examiner. Ruhi has a holistic approach to her clinical practice, combining all aspects of medical gynaecology and sexual and reproductive health.  

Dr Sanem Atakan BSc, MBBS, MRCOG

Consultant Gynaecologist

Dr Sanem Atakan is a Consultant Gynaecologist.  She holds an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol and graduated in Medicine from King’s College London in 2007.  She has worked in the NHS as a senior obstetrician and gynaecologist since 2016, having completed clinical fellowships in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology at University College Hospital London, and Early Pregnancy and Acute Gynaecology at King’s College Hospital London. 

Sanem specializes in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology, Menopause, Early Pregnancy, Benign Gynaecological Conditions, Menstrual Disorders, Contraception, and Gynaecological Endocrine Disorders.  She is trained in all aspects of Early Pregnancy and Gynaecological Scanning and is highly regarded for her compassionate and patient-centred approach to women’s health.  

Most recently, Sanem worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Princess Royal University Hospital in Orpington where she established and led a Perineal and Post-Partum Clinic, including birth trauma.  She was also the junior workforce lead and was actively engaged in training undergraduates and postgraduates in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. 

Sanem lives in South London and is married with two young children.  



Dr Simon Broughton FRCPCH, Consultant Paediatrician

Simon has been the Clinical Director for Child Health cross site at Kings College Hospital since 2018, Child Health has over 80 consultants and over 750 staff in total. Simon leads on all Kings College based projects for child health. He works collaboratively with other Paediatric Clinical leaders in particular at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. 


Simon is the RCPCH Officer for Recruitment and leads on recruitment to Paediatrics nationally and was the London training programme director recruitment lead for 10 years. He also developed and led a multidisciplinary Child Health MSc through Kings College London for 8 years. Simon completed his PhD in predictors of outcome from bronchiolitis in prematurely born infants in 2007.


Simon has extensive experience in all aspects of child health. 


Dr Diana Stan  MRCPCH, Consultant Paediatrician


Dr Diana Stan is a Consultant  Paediatrician with special expertise in feeding difficulties, reflux and infections. 


She currently practices in London as a Consultant Paediatrician at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.


Dr Diana Stan specialises in General Paediatrics. Diana administers all vaccines/immunisations and looks after respiratory, digestive, renal, skin, sleep, growth and behavioural disorders. 

 Dr Hana Patel General Practitioner BSc MBBS FRCGP MSc (med Ed) ILM5 


Dr. Hana Patel is a general practitioner who completed her medical training in 2005, qualifying from University College London and became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2010. She has additional post graduate qualifications in Family Planning, Women’s Health, Elderly Medicine, ILM 5 Executive Business Coaching and Mentoring and a Masters degree in Medical Education. Hana is a committed general practitioner who enjoys her life- long passion caring for patients, and shares her enthusiasm as a lecturer, GMC examiner and Training Programme Director for doctors in training to become both GPs and GP trainers. Hana appreciates the traditional GP- patient relationship and is keen to provide continuity and patient-informed long term care. As family medicine specialist, Hana specialises in all areas of medicine, and her interests include infertility, men’s health, paediatrics, elderly medicine and psychiatry.  


Hana also has an interest in regulatory medicine. She works for Health Education England, for the Care Quality Commission as a specialist GP advisor and for NHS England as a Clinical Advisor and Medical Appraiser. Hana is up to date with current evidence based NICE guidance and treatments available, and has access to a network of consultant specialist for patients when needed. Hana works in the NHS as a Executive Business Coach, Life Coach and Mentor, helping clients to identify and achieve personal goals in a positive manner, and offers this service also.  

Dr Trisha Ray General Practitioner BM, MRCP, MRCGP, DFSRH, MSc in Diabetes

Dr Trisha Ray is an experienced NHS GP who enjoys providing continuity of care and treating all members of a family. Trisha is committed to providing individualised and holistic care to all her patients.  Trisha can provide advice in all areas of medicine relevant to General Practice, also has a particular interest in Diabetes, General Medicine, and Mental Health. Trisha provides Well Man checks and Sexual Health checks. Trisha can see children for a wide range of reasons and administer children’s immunisations.


Trisha completed her medical training, qualifying from University of Southampton in 2006. She completed 2 years of specialist general medical training at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2009. After this, she decided that her real interest was in General Practice, and she became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2014. Trisha completed an MSc in Diabetes in 2014 for which she achieved a Distinction.

 Dr Yuliya Ashton MRCOG, MSc, PhD, Specialty Doctor in Colposcopy



Dr Yuliya Ashton is an accredited colposcopist and has particular interest in colposcopy and cervical pathology. She completed her training in diagnostic and therapeutic colposcopy at well-recognised colposcopy centre at the Whittington Health NHS Trust.


She is an active member of BSCCP (British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology), fully accredited colposcopist and trainer. 



 Dr Davide Casagrandi MD, MSc, Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics Ultrasound


Dr Davide Casagrandi has extensive experience in obstetrics ultrasound. Davide completed MSc in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine at UCL in 2002. He then completed his Fetal Medicine training at King's College Hospital  under the supervision of Prof Kypros Nicolaides in 2011. Since 2012 he has been working in the NHS as a specialty doctor at maternal fetal medicine unit at UCLH (University College London Hospitals). 


Davide has extensive experience in both NHS and the private sector. His specialist interest areas are prenatal diagnosis, obstetrics (pregnancy) ultrasound, preterm birth, maternal-fetal medicine & early pregnancy ultrasound. 



Ms Yolanda Royan Pardo MSK & Women's Health Physiotherapist  

Yolanda  completed her degree in physiotherapy in 2006 and occupational therapy in 2009  in the University of Vic, Barcelona.  She worked in the National Health Service and private practice in Spain for 9 years. She achieved a post-graduate degree in pelvic floor rehabilitation and hypopressive technique from Gimbernat University in Barcelona, 2015. She currently practices at Women's Health Dulwich and at Harley Street.

With various experiences with post surgery rehabilitation, elderly physiotherapy, Orthopaedic & Musculoskeletal.

Alongside her main areas of interest and due to the wide variability of pathologies Yolanda encountered in private practices in London, she is able to provide different types of treatments such as chronic lower back pain, post surgery rehabilitation, neck & shoulder pain, sport physiotherapy as well as clinical pilates.

On the other hand, through her former professional activities in physiotherapy practices and post training in woman's health in the UK, Yolanda  has acquired strong knowledge in pelvic floor rehabilitation, incontinence & prolapse, pelvic pain, PGP, SPD and lower back pain during pregnancy. She also specialises in abdominal reconditioning & diastasis recti and sexual dysfunctions. Yolanda has her regular sessions on Mondays and Thursdays

Ms Carla Brito, MSK, Women's Health & Paediatric Physiotherapist  


Carla graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2007 from Coimbra Health School (Portugal),  Carla has over 10 years of experience in Portugal and in the UK (London), working extensively with musculoskeletal, spinal and orthopaedic conditions and elderly care. Her private physiotherapy practice background and continuous professional development activities have allowed her to keep specialising her practice into paediatrics conditions (specialised physiotherapy for babies, children and young people - neuromotor development, gait and postural issues, torticollis and head flattening, sports injuries, among others) and women’s health conditions (pre and postnatal care and rehab, pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunctions, pelvic organs prolapse, incontinence, sexual dysfunctions).

With functional recovery as the main goal, Carla deeply believes in a personalised and holistic approach, with empowerment of every single patient, combining both manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercise programmes. 

Ms Simrat Bhangoo; Dip CBHyp, GQHP, GHR (Reg), Cert.Coach, P.G.Dip, B.A.(Hons)  Cognitive Behavioural Therapist-Life Coach-Hypnotherapist

With a degree in Psychology, Economics (Hons) & Sociology, Simrat is a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist and a certified neuro-psychology based Life Coach, specialising in stress and anxiety management. In addition, she also teaches personal & professional development to university students. Originally from a corporate background (financial services with several multinationals), she understands the stresses and strains of a modern-day work environment and its impact upon wellbeing. 

Simrat was nominated by Shaw Trust for ‘the Mayor of London award for changing lives’ in recognition of her work with people who were at a risk of being homeless. 

Simrat offers a warm, safe and confidential space for her clients to explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. She is passionately committed to equipping her clients with the tools and skills to learn self-efficacy and build resilience towards life, and its challenges. 

To help maintain or to bring BALANCE back into your life, she takes an integrative approach to therapy and uses a combination of evidence-based approaches rooted in neuroscience for optimum results. Simrat is a Registered Member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, Accredited Member of General Hypnotherapy Standard Council and a Member of Association for Coaches. As such, she follows their code of ethics. Simrat has her regular sessions on Tuesdays. 

Ms Ilayda Demirci; Nutritionist/ Dietician


Ilayda Demirci is a registered associate nutritionist. She is an active member of AfN (Association for Nutritionists). She completed her trainings in clinical nutritional therapy in adult and childhood diseases in Baskent University Research Hospital. During her trainings, she focused on nutrition in gestational diabetes and lactation. She has done research about Determination of Nutritional Knowledge Level During Pregnancy. 


After completing her education, she worked in weight management at clinical and hospital settings. She provided individual nutrition program to her clients in weight management and also nutritional support to pregnant women and women who have PCOS and hormone resilience. She is on a mission to ensure her clients change their lifestyle, improve their eating habits through nutrition counselling and make life easier and healthier for them in the future.

Ms Samone Amaral, Operations and Finance 



Samone is an administrative healthcare professional with more than ten years of working in the field. Originally from Boston, Samone studied and received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Healthcare Management.


She is passionate about healthcare, improving patient experience, and overall outcomes for the practice 


Kerem Tezcan, Information Technology

Kerem is a student with extensive experience in creating, operating and managing computer systems, and currently oversees the day-to-day IT operation of Women’s Health Dulwich.


Kerem is the point of contact for any technical queries or requirements, and aims to make the patient experience as seamless and accessible as possible. He ensures that patients have access to the latest medical technology for trouble-free treatment.


Kerem currently studies computer science undergraduate degree at Stanford University in San Francisco.  He continues overseeing all IT operations of Women’s Health Dulwich.


Emre Tezcan, Financial Analyst

Emre is a student with experience in business management and stock trading. He specialises in the evaluation of business decisions and proposal of investment opportunities for Women’s Health Dulwich.


For the past 18 months he has focused on the company’s financial performance and has helped the senior management team when making strategic decisions through his understanding of data processing and financial modelling. 


At present, Emre is studying at Dulwich College in South-East London.

We are all thrilled with Emre's undergraduate admission to University of Southern California (Economics) in 2022. Emre will continue overseeing all finances of Women's Health Dulwich.
