Dr Berrin Tezcan FRCOG, MSc, MD   

Clinical Director

Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, Fetal Medicine Specialist

Berrin completed her specialist training in London and she is a Fellow of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She worked in the NHS as a senior obstetrician and gynaecologist since 2005. She has over 20 years experience in the specialty. 

 

She completed her specialist training in Fetal Medicine at King’s College Hospital and holds Diploma in Fetal Medicine awarded by Prof Kypros Nicolaides. She then completed an MSc degree in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine at UCL (University College London) with distinction.

Berrin is one of the leading gynaecologists and obstetricians in London. She has excellent reputation and also, she is known as one of Vitality Health and referral consultants which means that her excellent management skills and excellent patient satisfaction results are recognised by the world’s leading private health insurance companies.  

Berrin worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Fetal Medicine Specialist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She has been actively involved in the training and teaching of obstetricians and gynaecologists at all levels. Berrin has very well established private clinics both in Central London and in South London.

 

Berrin also holds practicing privileges at the Portland Hospital. She runs her regular private clinics at Grosvenor Gardens Healthcare (Belgravia & Dulwich),  212 Great Portland Street Clinic (the Portland Hospital Outpatient Clinic).

Berrin is a Member of the RCOG Ethics Committee and advises on ethical concerns in the specialty. 

 

Berrin has two sons, 23 and 20 years old. Her sons study Computer Science and Economics at Stanford University and University of Southern California in the US. Berrin enjoys spending time with her family, running, swimming and playing tennis. She has successfully completed Hever Castle Triathlon, Vitality London 10k ran for Children with Cancer UK and also completed Cancer Research UK, Race for Life 2017

Dr Sanem Atakan BSc, MBBS, MRCOG

Consultant Gynaecologist

Sanem is a Consultant Gynaecologist.  She holds an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol and graduated in Medicine from King’s College London in 2007.  She has worked in the NHS as a senior obstetrician and gynaecologist since 2016, having completed clinical fellowships in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology at University College Hospital London, and Early Pregnancy and Acute Gynaecology at King’s College Hospital London. 

Sanem specializes in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology, Menopause, Early Pregnancy, Benign Gynaecological Conditions, Menstrual Disorders, Contraception, and Gynaecological Endocrine Disorders.  She is trained in all aspects of Early Pregnancy and Gynaecological Scanning and is highly regarded for her compassionate and patient-centred approach to women’s health.  

Most recently, Sanem worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Princess Royal University Hospital in Orpington where she established and led a Perineal and Post-Partum Clinic, including birth trauma.  She was also the junior workforce lead and was actively engaged in training undergraduates and postgraduates in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. 

Sanem lives in South London and is married with two young children.  

Dr Nadia Amokrane BSc, MRCOG

Consultant Gynaecologist

Dr Nadia Amokrane is a Consultant Gynaecologist.   Having graduated in Medicine from the University in Bristol in 2009, she also holds an honours degree in International Health.   She completed her training in obstetrics and gynaecology in South London and has completed RCOG  advanced training specialist modules in gynaecology and early pregnancy ultrasound, minimal access surgery and ambulatory gynaecology procedures.    

Nadia was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Epsom and St Helier Hospitals in 2022 where she currently leads Acute Gynaecology and Early Pregnancy in Epsom.  She is particularly interested in early pregnancy problems and has recently set up an ambulatory unit for women suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum.  Nadia is a keen teacher and educator and is College Tutor at the trust, responsible for the training and education of doctors in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. 

Nadia’s areas of expertise and special interests include diagnosis and management of early pregnancy complications, contraception, ambulatory gynaecology procedures, menopause, pelvic pain and menstrual disorders.  She is regarded by her patients and colleagues as a highly empathetic and compassionate doctor who is devoted to empowering her patients to make informed choices about their health.  

Dr Ruhi Ali Jawad MBBS, MSc, FRCOG, FFSRH, FFFLM

Consultant Gynaecologist

Dr. Ruhi Jawad is a highly experienced Consultant in Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health, practicing in the NHS since 1999, trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Cork, Ireland.  She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Fellow of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, and Fellow of the   Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians in London. 

Dr. Jawad specialises in all aspects of outpatient gynaecology and sexual health. Ruhi has considerable experience managing routine and complex contraception cases. She specializes in the provision of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) under local anaesthesia for coils and implants.

After completing her specialist training in London at Guys and St. Thomas NHS Foundation Trust and at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, she has since built a portfolio career, holding various positions across the UK. She is actively involved in teaching and training across her specialties, becoming the General Training Programme Director at the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare from 2019-2024. She continues to be a Clinical and Educational Supervisor, approved by the General Medical Council.

 Dr. Jawad also held a pivotal role in supporting the Havens sexual assault referral centre (SARC)   since its establishment in June 2000, where she continues to serve as a Sexual Offences Examiner .

With a holistic approach to her clinical practice, Dr. Jawad combines all aspects of medical gynaecology and sexual and reproductive health in the supervision of complex cases. She lives in Dulwich with her husband. She has three grown up children, and two grandchildren.

Dr Simon Broughton BM, FRCPCH, PhD

Consultant Paediatrician

Simon has been working in Paediatrics since 1995 based in London, King’s College Hospital and  Grosvenor Gardens Healthcare. He completed his medical degree at University of Southampton in 1994 and is a Fellow of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. He was awarded PhD for his research work surrounding the long term consequences of bronchiolitis on prematurely born infants in 2007. 

 

Simon focuses on developing systems of care to enhance patient safety. He has a particular interest in early recognition and prompt management of clinical deterioration of the unwell child. Simon has held senior managerial roles within his NHS work, and regional and national roles for education and training. 

 

In his current clinical practice, Simon provides a wide range of services, including: vaccinations, well baby checks and routine growth and development checks, as well as routine childhood illness. Simon is very experienced in managing respiratory tract infections, cough and wheeze, constipation, abdominal pain, headaches, fatigue and malaise.

Simon also has an impressive research background, having completed his PhD in 2009 and authored over 30 publications, which have been recognised and cited by his peers. 

Dr Julia Phillips MB/BChir MA(cantab) MRCPCH

Consultant Paediatrician

Dr Julia Phillips is a consultant paediatrician with specialist interests in paediatric diabetes, management and leadership. 

Julia is Deputy Clinical Director for Child Health at King’s College Hospital and leads the Paediatric Team at the Princess Royal University Hospital site. 

Julia qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2004. She entered the specialist paediatric training programme in 2006. Training centres included; The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton, Kings’ College Hospital London and the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Julia gained extensive training in general paediatrics, paediatric intensive care, neonatology, paediatric endocrinology and diabetes, oncology and nephrology. 

Julia has a passion for transforming services across organisations and works with commissioning groups to develop award winning, integrated paediatric nursing and paediatric primary care services. Julia has an interest in medical education and training and has won awards for Leadership in Education. Julia clinically supervises paediatricians in training, is an appraiser for consultant paediatricians and an instructor for advanced paediatric life support.

Julia’s clinical expertise includes a wide range of childhood conditions including acute, chronic and rare disorders. Conditions she has expertise in include; abdominal pain, gastro-oesophageal reflux, cough, asthma, urinary infections, enuresis, headaches, and disorders of development, puberty and growth. In her NHS role Julia also provides specialist clinics in paediatric diabetes including insulin pump therapy.

 Dr Davide Casagrandi MD, MSc

Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics Ultrasound

 

Davide has extensive experience in obstetrics ultrasound. Davide completed MSc in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine at UCL in 2002. He then completed his Fetal Medicine training at King's College Hospital  under the supervision of Prof Kypros Nicolaides in 2011. Since 2012 he has been working in the NHS as a specialty doctor at maternal fetal medicine unit at UCLH (University College London Hospitals). 

 

Davide has extensive experience in both NHS and the private sector. His specialist interest areas are prenatal diagnosis, obstetrics (pregnancy) ultrasound, preterm birth, maternal-fetal medicine & early pregnancy ultrasound. 

 

Dr Jennifer Hong BSc, MBChB, MRCGP, DFSRH

General Practitioner (GP)

Dr Jennifer Hong is a general practitioner. She completed her medical degree at University of Leicester in 2015 and has worked across a wide range of specialties including paediatrics, men's health. elderly medicine, palliative care, sexual health, dermatology, and psychiatry. In addition to her primary role as a GP consulting patients of all ages and genders, Dr Hong has a keen interest in general paediatrics and men's health, as well as contraceptive care, including long acting reversible contraception, and in menopause. She is passionate about delivering high quality, patient centred care to her patients, with a holistic approach to health and well being. 

Dr Janelle Yee MRCGP, MBChB

General Practitioner (GP)

Dr. Janelle Yee is a qualified General Practitioner, having graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2017. After completing GP training at St George’s Hospital in London, Dr. Yee gained extensive experience across a broad range of medical and surgical specialties. This includes paediatrics, ENT, respiratory, acute medicine, emergency medicine, general surgery, and gastroenterology. With a strong foundation in both primary and secondary care, she is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, drawing on a diverse clinical background to provide comprehensive medical support.

Ms Yolanda Royan Pardo

MSK & Women's Health Physiotherapist  

Yolanda  completed her degree in physiotherapy in 2006 and occupational therapy in 2009  in the University of Vic, Barcelona.  She worked in the National Health Service and private practice in Spain for 9 years. She achieved a post-graduate degree in pelvic floor rehabilitation and hypopressive technique from Gimbernat University in Barcelona, 2015. She currently practices at Women's Health Dulwich and at Harley Street.

With various experiences with post surgery rehabilitation, elderly physiotherapy, Orthopaedic & Musculoskeletal.

Alongside her main areas of interest and due to the wide variability of pathologies Yolanda encountered in private practices in London, she is able to provide different types of treatments such as chronic lower back pain, post surgery rehabilitation, neck & shoulder pain, sport physiotherapy as well as clinical pilates.

On the other hand, through her former professional activities in physiotherapy practices and post training in woman's health in the UK, Yolanda  has acquired strong knowledge in pelvic floor rehabilitation, incontinence & prolapse, pelvic pain, PGP, SPD and lower back pain during pregnancy. She also specialises in abdominal reconditioning & diastasis recti and sexual dysfunctions. Yolanda has her regular sessions on Mondays and Thursdays

Ms Carla Brito, MSK

Women's Health & Paediatric Physiotherapist  

 

Carla graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2007 from Coimbra Health School (Portugal),  Carla has over 10 years of experience in Portugal and in the UK (London), working extensively with musculoskeletal, spinal and orthopaedic conditions and elderly care. Her private physiotherapy practice background and continuous professional development activities have allowed her to keep specialising her practice into paediatrics conditions (specialised physiotherapy for babies, children and young people - neuromotor development, gait and postural issues, torticollis and head flattening, sports injuries, among others) and women’s health conditions (pre and postnatal care and rehab, pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunctions, pelvic organs prolapse, incontinence, sexual dysfunctions).

With functional recovery as the main goal, Carla deeply believes in a personalised and holistic approach, with empowerment of every single patient, combining both manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercise programmes. 

Ms Oyku Uman

Nutritional Therapist 

Oyku  holds a degree in nutrition and dietetics with a comprehensive study and examination, along with a minor degree in human psychology. 

Throughout her academic journey, she pursued additional certifications through various courses in nutrition and psychology, actively participated in international seminars on health and nutrition, and contributed significantly to the national health and nutrition field. She specialises in weight loss, demonstrating proficiency in nutrition and diets, possessing the ability to promptly grasp client requirements and nutritional needs.

Her expertise lies in collaborating with individuals to comprehend their current dietary habits, desired outcomes, and implementing strategies for long-term health enhancements. As a nutritional therapist, Miss Uman aims to establish a balanced connection between emotions and eating habits, striving to create an educational environment during her sessions. Her approach emphasizes personalized programs tailored to individual needs, incorporating insights from blood tests and lifestyle assessments. Through her sessions, clients learn how to navigate their emotional relationship with food while developing sustainable dietary habits for long-term health and well-being.
